@Garcia: By the way, maybe Adam Carson could help you. After all, he is our official "Aeroengineer" ;-)

But his hobby is designing submarines (it's a crazy mixed-up world LOL)

Please, take loads of pictures of videos of the "inaugural flight" if you finally do that: this would be worthy enough. LOL

@kfield: Only if you are prepared to sign a waiver of liability, indemnification, and medical release!

Consider it done -- now all we have to do is find the biggest, baddest, money-no-object gas-powered leafe blower out there....

@kfield: I did an article on an "alleged" hovercraft skateboard a few years back. I say alleged because after interviewing some aerospace guys I was skeptical that you could control the device under ground turbulence conditions.

Hi Max:
I did an article on an "alleged" hovercraft skateboard a few years back. I say alleged because after interviewing some aerospace guys I was skeptical that you could control the device under ground turbulence conditions. We sent a photographer to get a picture of the guy who built it hovering on it (he lived in England, go figure) and when the pictures came back I felt kind of like I worked for the Weekly World News as you could sort of see a faint shadow under the board like he might have been a few inches above the ground, but then again it might have been a smudge on the sidewalk!
