"As the Internet of Things takes off, sensors will find their way into devices that nobody has even thought of yet."
True!....The smart phones have provided the required boost to the sensors, this will increase multifold at the onset of IoT. One thing that has changed over the years, in the world of sensors, that the interface of the sensor to the host processor has become more standardized...from analog interface to standard digital interface, e.g. I2C interface.
Sensor business is poised for much bigger growth in future considering the amount of home automation and security system those are going to evolve. I strobgly believe any comapnay investing in sensors business will have a strong growth in future.
What are the engineering and design challenges in creating successful IoT devices? These devices are usually small, resource-constrained electronics designed to sense, collect, send, and/or interpret data. Some of the devices need to be smart enough to act upon data in real time, 24/7. Specifically the guests will discuss sensors, security, and lessons from IoT deployments.
