I still have a TI-Sinclair in storage in case of an "EEmergency".

Last time I used in in an "EEmergency" the Japenese owners where going to be doing a walk around the plant.

At the time we lowly assciote engineers did not get are own computers. We had to share one.

So the TI-Sinclair came out of EEmergency storage and was plopped down on my empty desk!

An etch a scetch was grip taped to the cubical wall fuze, without cables to infure that it was wirelessly connected to the TI-Sinclair.

This was to improve the probability of being noticed by Japanese management during the walk around.

It worked!

They stopped to ask forcing the honest in the moment boss to blurt out

Tha's my smart A$$ engineer complaining about not having his own computer!

We all got new computers the next year!

I did not get the raise I thought I deserved that year for some strange reason, something about capitol expenditures.

I was not convinced.

I want to put one of these little super computers in the old TI-Sinclair shell now.

Time to get out the TI-Sinclair "emergency storage again!

What a minute, it will fit into the 16k memory expansion I have also!

The TI-Sinclair can stay un-adult-erated and port the bubble keys into the old 16k memory module now housing my own little 99$ supercomputer!

If I write an article about the DYI project for you guys, whats the chances of getting my hands on one of these little FPGA_multi-MCU's gems?

We need to get the Lego folks to do a set targeted for Arduino! Perfect for the electrical part of electromechanical...

@DrFPGA: "LOL the use of Lego to hold the fan."

I started to play with lego kits when I was about 7-8 years old. They already included some motors, gears... Nowadays, I can confirm that Lego is my personal "3D printer". From time to time, I buy a new box, and everytime I need a mechanical prototype, I combine Lego stuff for doing the task ;-)

And of course, this is lot of fun!!

LOL the use of Lego to hold the fan.

It gives me so many ideas with how to mount my Arduino board!

@Andreas: Of course, I would love to upload the example to the Parallella repository. Just let me clean the code and I'll upload the two versions under GPL license: the one that uses a general purpose code running on the Cortex A9 and the hardware accelerated one by using the Epiphany processor. In this way, the speed-up provided by your multicore device can be clearly appreciated ;-)

@javi: I love this! I was a physics major who got distracted and ended up going into ee so this is very "meta":-) Any chance you could upload the example to the Parallella community open source github repository. Any one of the popular open source licenses would be fine (BSD,GPL, Apache, MIT). I am sure others could learn a lot from your example.

@Javi: Despite its credit-card size, this little rascal boasts a vast amount of processing resources.

Oh dear, it looks like I'm rubbing off on you LOL
