Its great that world is discussing about 5G. In countries like India still we are in 2G being stable and availabel from all leadign service providers. 3G is also there but with very specific providers. Faster internet and anywhere internet is what is needed for future.
I an follow up email Hellberg clarified that Qualcomm does see the need for a new air interface for 5G that covers the broad range of spectrum bands it is expected to support from below 6 GHz to the millimeter wave bands.
