I believe quantum dots are very stable in a wide variety of environments, and the distincive shape of the tetrapods makes them easy to identify. Of course, there are lots of other shapes that coud be used too, especially for the anti-counterfeiting app.
I'm interested to read that quantum dots are already being deployed in TV systems. It is gratifying to see innovations making it into the marketplace. I'm curious to know how stable the quantum dots are for anti-counterfeiting purposes. What environmental extremes can they tolerate?
What are the engineering and design challenges in creating successful IoT devices? These devices are usually small, resource-constrained electronics designed to sense, collect, send, and/or interpret data. Some of the devices need to be smart enough to act upon data in real time, 24/7. Specifically the guests will discuss sensors, security, and lessons from IoT deployments.
