How long could Jibo go on without charging? We have a robot vacuum cleaner that can't even finish one room before losing all its charge.

I would prefer a JIBO like robot than a Cat or Dog in my house. 

Don't look at JIBO as a family member but treat him like your obedient servant who does not take unannounced leave or is sleeping somehwhere in the backyard when you most wanted him.

If JIBO could also do some household chores such as operating the washing machine, and checking the inventory in the refrigerator and  vaccuming the rooms !

What will you prefer - Jibo or pet dog/cat as your next family member? Dog/Cat have very high lelve of emotions. Jibo may act much like slave.

Many people may not family member to act like salve. It will be nice to have more pets.

Jibo certainly will teach market analysts many things by becoming extremely popular. But for that it needs to build up enough hype. This can only be achieved with clever marketing. Why isn?t Jibo marketed with Home Automation systems? Then people will get interested in home automation systems because they?ll be more interested in Jibo, and they?ll want to know what kind of a dimension is the home automation system because Jibo is marketed with it.

Yes, I can see this being the first home robot to seriously hit the market.  One reason is that there's not much major movement.  Yes, I would love to have a Jibo.  This is like having a private secretary.

As data rates begin to move beyond 25 Gbps channels, new problems arise. Getting to 50 Gbps channels might not be possible with the traditional NRZ (2-level) signaling. PAM4 lets data rates double with only a small increase in channel bandwidth by sending two bits per symbol. But, it brings new measurement and analysis problems.
