I see cracks in the circular argument you've constructed.

Oops, this was supposed to be:

Look what the Nest fire alarm does if you wave "the finger" at it!

"Hey, Penny! It looks like we're finally going to see what a juvenile OOH-AHH bird looks like!" said Bob, cackling like an AM receiver during a thunderstorm.

(Well, we SHOULD have to have a reference to electronics, shoudln't we?)

Engineering is just one trade-off after another. We could try making it from transparent aluminum and painting the inside white for privacy, but that would shield the radios and sensors, and putting the antennae and the sensors on the outside would compromise it's in-atmosphere performance.

The Pitfalls of Drag Racing with other Spaceships

I told Mork he shouldn't have challenged David to a drag race to Phaelon with Max, the Trimaxion Drone Ship, even if it was somewhat egg-shaped and weighed down with all those specimens.

(Bonus unredeemable points if you can name the movie reference with Max and David!)

Hint: (Sorry, I couldn't resist the Max and David references!)

Max: I crashed into electrical towers and my star charts were erased. I need the ones in your head to complete my mission.

David: So you need ME and my INFERIOR brain to fly that thing?

Max: Correction, I need the SUPERIOR information in your INFERIOR brain to fly this... thing.

Sadly, Mork never made it back to Ork, but he is in a better place now.

Like many of you, I was saddened to hear the news of Leonard Nimoy's death. His Star Trek character Mr. Spock was an inspiration to many of us who entered technical fields.
