@David Ashton ...Bacon Nation which is in Toronto...

Bacon in Canada is not the same as bacon in the United States. Bacon in Canada is also not what the US calls Canadian Bacon. According to Wikipedia, the English speaking world can't agree on what part of a pig is bacon.

@Antedeluvian....it seems Bar Brutus is not yet open, so Max'll have to wait, but the article also points to Bacon Nation which is in Toronto, aren't you there or near there?  If that's true, you should expect a visit from Max soon :-)

PS just saw they offer Bacon-wrapped deep-fried Mars Bars.... mmmmmm

Max

("Max Bacon" has much the same effect LOL)

I just got back from a fairly exotic store where they have a section of everything bacon- chewing gum, toothpicks flavoured with bacon all the way through to an alcohol shaker with the words: "what's shakin', bacon?" emblazoned on the side. I immediately thought of you.

Did you see the email I sent you about Bar Brutus, the all bacon restaurant in Montreal?

@DrFPAG: Bacon beer? Maybe not?

I did get to quaff my fair share of beer -- sadly there wasn't any bacon at the conference ,but there was some great bacon at the Brazilian Barbeque I went to ... yum yum...

NEXT UPCOMING BROADCAST
In conjunction with unveiling of EE Times’ Silicon 60 list, journalist & Silicon 60 researcher Peter Clarke hosts a conversation on startups in the electronics industry. One of Silicon Valley's great contributions to the world has been the demonstration of how the application of entrepreneurship and venture capital to electronics and semiconductor hardware can create wealth with developments in semiconductors, displays, design automation, MEMS and across the breadth of hardware developments. But in recent years concerns have been raised that traditional venture capital has turned its back on hardware-related startups in favor of software and Internet applications and services. Panelists from incubators join Peter Clarke in debate.
