can such drones be built with a load carrying ability? I'm not talking about the pizza delivery system, but a drone with a load carrying ability gives Amazon's idea some credit.

What load carrying ability are you looking for? Have you looked at the Amazon Prime Air? The drone they have can carry 5 pounds  (2kgrams).  Certainly low for a lot of things, but good enough for that impulse buy of a few books or vitamins. It is probably enough to deliver a Parrot AR Drone (a drone delivering a drone!)

Sure, Amazon started this race and I am happy that it is driving this new era of drone innovation. The good news is that after all these races, many of these firms will collapse and the smartest and strongest ones will stay. That is how technology works. So many will run, but few will win and survive. The key question is this - what is the economic viability of drone business without clear legislations?

They do not need a black box. They do have a white box that can log all the flight records in a cloud-server provided you have networks. If you have a microSD, that can also pull all the data for analyses later.

Notice edge sealing around BGA's

One thing I noticed was the edge sealing around the BGA's (black adhesive), possibly for vibration hardening.

Ever since Amazon has penned down its wishes for a drone delivery system, every other major industry seems to be going gaga over the ingenuity of the idea. Now the question arises, can such drones be built with a load carrying ability? I'm not talking about the pizza delivery system, but a drone with a load carrying ability gives Amazon's idea some credit. Maybe in the near future we can see a full sized drone delivery system.

Doesn't this drone have some kind of a Black Box that we see in higher models (and especially aeroplanes) that can probably test for hacking countermeasures and provide its flight statistics to a cloud server so that future routes can be planned?
