I believe there is a difference between WATCHING and RECORDING. Obviously ordinary glasses, as well as binoculars and telescopes enhance the ability of a viewer to see - but they do not record the images. If the images are being recorded - especially in a place that others reasonably expect they have some privacy - then there should be a recoding indicator such as a bright red light visible to the external world.

It's funny, even in the iJustine video she tapes a waiter without permission and is shocked that he keeps speaking to her. I imaigne (hope) that the crew obtained his permission after the fact.

So Google Glass inspired the endearing term "Glassholes". Can I guess what Pivothead will create? I'll open it up with "Dic*Head" for a user who is filming the unsuspecting. With the founders last name of COX it fits. I can only hope this stupid fad will fade and actual privacy will prevail.
