@David Ashton  "PS I think it's prowl"

David, if the engineering thing doesn't work out, you could definitely find work as a copy editor!!!

@kfield: I have to say I'm glad that my husband does not prowel flea markets in search of things...

That's only because he hadn't heard about the EETimes Roadtrip to Hamvention in May 2015 -- I assume you and he are planning on joining us...

@David: PS I think it's prowl.  Even in the US....

Karen is one who has donned the undergarments of authority and strides the corridors of power  -- who are we to tell her what to say? Cower before her lest she smite you soundly for your arrogance.

Old stuff like these analog meters are so beautiful, but I have to say I'm glad that my husband does not prowel flea markets in search of things, we'd have even less room than we do now!

@Rcurl: I just watched it with Cynthia- but my lips are sealed until you let me know that you've seen it.

I still haven't watched it -- hoping to do so sometime today...

@Max: As an aside (since I know you like Dr Who), did you see the new one on Saturday? I missed it (preparing for my trip) but I just downloaded it to my iPad as a treat for the return journey.

@dwhess: ...instead of paper or white film for photographs, I print reversed on a transparency film...

Very interesting -- I'll have to try this technique also -- once I have the tex t/ images I need, it will be easy to reverse then and try this -- thanks for sharing

I have used the same technique to make front panel art for prototypes but instead of paper or white film for photographs, I print reversed on a transparency film intended for overhead projectors which I turn over when spray attaching to the front panel.  That allows the tough and chemically resistant Mylar transparency film to protect the printing.
