The TEC5V4A-D is an electronic module designed for driving TECs (Thermo-Electric Coolers) with high stability in regulating the object temperature, high energy efficiency, zero EMI, and small package.

The module provides interface components for users to configure desired object temperature range, i.e. set-point temperature range;maximum voltage across TEC, i.e. maximum TEC voltage; and the compensation network. The compensation network compensates the high order thermal load and thus stabilizes the temperature control loop.

As data rates begin to move beyond 25 Gbps channels, new problems arise. Getting to 50 Gbps channels might not be possible with the traditional NRZ (2-level) signaling. PAM4 lets data rates double with only a small increase in channel bandwidth by sending two bits per symbol. But, it brings new measurement and analysis problems.
