@FirmwareEngineer: I wonder though, is there something else that should be added/removed to/from Dr.Duino to improve it further?
I'll have to play with one before I can offer suggestions -- most of my projects involve Arduino Megas or chipKIT Max32s -- maybe when this Kickstarter is over, we can talk about a "Dr. Duino on Steroids" for these larger platforms.
Orbis was such a departure from my normal design work and honestly a breath of fresh air. Working with Arduino and integrating an old phone melded with color changing LED's was really fun. Not to mention delving into the laser cut wood arena for the first time.
If it werent for Arduino's environment, it would have been much more diffiuclt to make Orbis come to life. Especially since i was only working on her at night. I hope that by having created Dr.Duino and addressing the typical pain points of Arduino hw/fw integration I can help contribute to an already fantastic developing environment.
