Really ... Interesting "Change" of Policy (??) ... U.S. Business and U.S. Government - The Economics (Game) Plan is and has been different than other Countries "Game Plan" - for DECADES - which is Encourage the Shipment of Everything Overseas - Fabs, Jobs, "Synergy" and Technology - Never mind Technology for The U.S. and Semiconductor Jobs for U.S. Workers (?)... O.K., Looks like that policy is working ... Let's run that business, (and government) "Equation" out over a few decades more ... D'uh, even the "Smart" (non-payed off) Washington D.C. Politicians - might see and someday say ... where are We going to get Semiconductor products for our next military industrial complex project ?? ... (Our "Fearless" Leaders (D.C.) and The Smart (Big Bucks) U.S. Experts - are "a little" Late !) ...
Apologies , i come from a time when (example:==> ) Russia was not our Friend and (maybe) communism was not a good thing and The U.S. Semiconductor Industry was important. ... But now, that everyone is our Friend - Friend of The United States and there are NO disagreements (example:==> ) North Korea .. .then, the game plan of the big money U.S. Experts is and was - Go Ahead and Encourage The Genie out of The Bottle.
i realize now, that all ... are just a commodity except "Washington D.C." and The Big Money U.S. Experts (U.S. Corporate) ! ... hope the lower part of my post - is better.
