LONDON — CSR plc, a fabless chip supplier for applications ranging from Bluetooth to GPS communications, is making a major hiring push according to open positions listed at its website.

All the positions appear to be in the U.K. where CSR (Cambridge, England) has its headquarters with no current vacancies listed for its locations in the United States, France, Sweden, India, Japan, Taiwan, South Korea or Denmark.

However, CSR does state that exceptional, highly qualified or experienced technical people are encouraged to apply for work so long as they have an excellent degree, experience in the fabless semiconductor business and interest in computing and electronics outside of work.

CSR has ten specified positions in R&D open — two in hardware engineering and eight in software and software test.

The company also has two finance positions open as well as positions in product marketing, field applications, health and safety and the a "learning and development" position. Seventeen positions are open in all. Salaries are not discussed.
