PARIS EDA and IP company Dolphin Integration SA (Meylan, France) has created Dolphin Integration Ltd. in Netania, Israel, in a view to foster the company's product developments in advanced memories, analog and mixed-signal circuits.
Dolphin Integration said the choice of Israel was motivated by the availability of highly skilled designers, specifying that "this professional density relying on a true entrepreneurial spirit is the foundation for an exceptional basis of semiconductor fabless suppliers."
The launching phase has started with a couple of experienced specialists, the company said.
The launch of Dolphin Integration Ltd. in Israel follows the creations of Dolphin Integration GmbH in Duisburg, Germany, specialized in MEMS modeling and simulation, and of Dolphin Integration Inc. in Montreal, Quebec, specialized in embedded inductorless power regulators.
Mid-October, Dolphin Integration reported unaudited revenues of 10.7 million euros ($15.9 million) for fiscal year 2008-2009, ended Sept. 30. This compares with revenues of 11.1 million euros ($16.55 million) for fiscal year 2007-2008.
And, looking ahead, the France-based company declared: "The high rate of upgrades imposed by our market position, in both the Library and the Audio converter businesses, has been faced positively so that the company is facing the new fiscal year in a promising posture."
