Former Chartered executive joins PDF Solutions

SAN JOSE - PDF Solutions Inc. today (April 22, 2003) named Michael Buehler-Garcia, a former executive at Chartered Semiconductor Manufacturing Pte. Ltd., as its new vice president of marketing.

Buehler-Garcia comes to PDF from Chartered, where he was vice president of worldwide marketing and business development for the Singaporean foundry specialist.

As a result of the personal move, Dave Joseph, executive vice president of sales, marketing and business development for PDF, has been shifted to the position of chief strategy officer for the San Jose-based supplier of software for design-for-manufacturing applications.

In addition, Cees Hartgring, vice president of sales for PDF, has been named to the new position of vice president of worldwide strategic business development and sales.
