Firm to lease New York fabs, facilities

SAN JOSE, Calif. -- Real estate firm Binswanger has been named exclusive agent by IBM Corp. for the lease of two fabs and industrial space located in East Fishkill, N.Y.

NXP Corp. operated the fabs and space under a lease, but never owned them, according to Binswanger (Philadelphia, Penn.). NXP shut down the fabs some time ago.

Two 8-inch wafer fab facilities are available with all necessary utilities and infrastructure. One facility has a total of 289,275 gross square feet. Of that, the facility has 123,000-square-foot of clean room space.

The other facility has a total of 325,759 gross square feet. It offers 50,000-square-feet of clean room space, with the capability of an 110,000 squre foot expansion.

Also available is a 371,480 gross square foot light manufacturing building and office space of 30,000-, 50,000 and 100,000 square foot.
