Barnes to license its patents for transferring and exchanging data between heterogeneous computer systems. JuxtaComm holds patents in both Canada (2,241,767) and the United States (6,195,662 B1) addressing the process of application integration.After reviewing the validity and scope of the JuxtaComm patents, J.D. Barnes sought the license from JuxtaComm to ensure that technology utilized in its project work would not violate JuxtaComm's proprietary interests.Teilhard's JuxtaComm Integration Platform technology extracts data from databases, legacy systems, flat files, applications, and MQ Series queues; completes the necessary conversions and transformations; and delivers relevant information in the appropriate formats, to target files, applications or MQ Series queues.
