CALGARY, Alberta, Aug. 26 /PRNewswire/ -- Teilhard Technologies confirmed today that its subsidiary, JuxtaComm Technologies Inc., has signed an agreement with J.D. Barnes to license its patents for transferring and exchanging data between heterogeneous computer systems. JuxtaComm holds patents in both Canada (2,241,767) and the United States (6,195,662 B1) addressing the process of application integration. After reviewing the validity and scope of the JuxtaComm patents, J.D. Barnes sought the license from JuxtaComm to ensure that technology utilized in its project work would not violate JuxtaComm's proprietary interests.Teilhard's JuxtaComm Integration Platform technology extracts data from databases, legacy systems, flat files, applications, and MQ Series queues; completes the necessary conversions and transformations; and delivers relevant information in the appropriate formats, to target files, applications or MQ Series queues. JuxtaComm's applications enable organizations to treat all data in the same manner -- regardless of its format or source -- without having to write complex, problem-specific software that requires considerable time and money to maintain. The JuxtaComm Integration Platform has three key applications that work together to prepare and execute a customized integration solution. The JuxtaComm Architect is used to design the required functions of the integration broker, the JuxtaComm CrossOver is used to execute the solutions designed by the JuxtaComm Architect, and the JuxtaComm Scheduler is used to manage recurring, scheduled executions of scripts.Teilhard announced in June that it was granted the patents in both the U.S. and in Canada on their system for transforming and exchanging data between heterogeneous computer systems and programs, associated with their JuxtaComm(TM) IP software. The company is offering licensing agreements to software development companies, systems integrators, VARs, and others in both countries that are using the Extract, Transform and Load (ETL) method of integration in their practices.About TeilhardTeilhard Technologies provides a suite of products and solutions for application integration, customer relationship management (CRM) and E- commerce. The company's business solutions allow their customers to successfully integrate systems, information and business processes to create and maintain their competitive edge.
