LAS VEGAS, Jan. 6 /PRNewswire/ -- Dingo Inc., creator of the free DingoTel Internet telephony service, today announced the availability of DingoTel 2Way Internet Adapter for two-way radios. With DingoTel 2Way, radio users can talk for free over the Internet to anyone else on the DingoTel peer to peer (P2P) network. It works by connecting almost any Family Radio Service (FRS) or General Mobile Radio Service (GMRS), or business two-way radio to a computer and then transmitting the user's voice over the Internet via a Voice over IP network (VoIP) in real time. DingoTel 2Way enables users to leave their computers and roam to the maximum range of the radios.

The DingoTel 2Way adapter plugs into a standard USB computer jack. A two- way radio that supports an earpiece and microphone connects to the adapter using the provided cable. DingoTel has worked with Giant International to launch a product that supports a broad range of radios and market applications. The Motorola Talkabout(R) series of radios have been extensively tested with DingoTel 2Way. The 2Way software works like most instant messaging (IM) programs using a buddy list. All that is needed to add friends and contacts to a buddy list is the intended contact's email address. The software uses voice recognition to understand commands, so users are free to pick up their radios and move away from their computers. With long distance two-way radios, users are able to get many miles away from their computers and still communicate via the Internet to anyone on the Dingo Network anywhere in the world - for free.

College students and teenagers will enjoy being able to chat with their friends while away from their computers. Active kids can even venture out into their neighborhood with their two-way radios and still call their buddies to join multi-party conferences, across the country or around the world using DingoTel 2Way software. DingoTel incorporates text to speech technology in its instant messaging, making mobile instant messaging a whole lot of fun!

The DingoTel 2Way adapter is packaged with a connecting cable compatible with all Motorola Talkabout two-way radios and other major radio brands. Manufacturer's suggested retail price is $79.99. Dingo Inc., with offices in Atlanta, Georgia, offers a free PC version that can be downloaded on the Internet at http://www.dingotel.com/ . DingoTel's service allows anyone in the DingoTel network to communicate for free using a VoIP headset, a two-way radio or a DingoTel Telephone Adapter, for unlimited talk time.
