Already extensively tested and used in multiple customer environments, OmniCenter HA(TM) is designed to provide instant, automatic failover to a mirrored standby appliance.

In this solution, an OmniCenter HA(TM) appliance is installed as a hot-standby unit which mirrors all of the data and configuration from the primary server. The standby unit monitors the primary unit in real-time and will take over all the functions of the primary should it fail for any reason.

To achieve seamless failover, the HA appliance can be installed to mirror all the data from the primary OmniCenter(TM) appliance. When service is restored to the failed unit, it will immediately assume standby duties and begin automatically mirroring the data from the new primary appliance. OmniCenter HA(TM) can also be installed at a geographically-separate location for disaster-recovery, and mirroring can be maintained over any TCP/IP network.
