Passport Echo is currently deployed on multiple DVR set-tops including the Motorola DCT6208 and DCT6412. The new version of Passport Echo will provide dual-tuner functionality for the DCT6412, and can be turned on through a software download to currently deployed DCT6412 set-tops. Dual-tuner functionality provides an unrestricted viewing and recording experience. * Intelligent Title Search is a virtual keyboard that allows for easy
title entry with a remote control, and for seamless program searches,
typing gets easier because non-selectable characters dim to narrow the
search as the title is typed
* Keyword Search allows viewers to search for shows with subjects that
match a particular word such as "snowboarding"
* Enhanced parental control features
* Enhanced HD output format controls allows viewers to select the aspect
ratio and video output format from the settings menu of Passport Echo
With Passport Echo, customers can record a full series of their favorite shows by creating a series recording, or they can create their own custom series by creating a personalized keyword search and recording all matching shows.
