About 30 years of analog (nV, nA, quantum noise floor, GHz), digital (ECL, PCL, PLD and 500k LUT FPGA's), optoelectronic (IR thru to Si APD's, lasers) and power (motor control thru to ZVZC 80kW 150kV inverters as well as the usual ACDC and DCDC stuff). Passing EMC with flying colors (if the immunity chamber can do 30V/m and 50A/m then do just do it, you can always fall back!). Also PCB design (IPC CID+). Thermal stuff as well (cooling, tempco's, electropotentials and electromigration).
Mainly industrial and medical as design consultant, with interest in vision and DSP. From authoring design requirements and tech specs all the way thru to xfer to production.
Like electronics a lot. Been playing with an XMOS Starterkit in the past week, so Xmas and Hogmanay have passed unnoticed.
