The various technologies used to create different types of programmable devices -- including antifuse, Flash, and SRAM-based devices -- will be discussed, along with their advantages and disadvantages. Also discussed will be the benefit inherent in using All Programmable Devices, as opposed to traditional integrated circuits whose functions are "frozen in silicon."
