It's not just because this event is in my back yard that I'm excited about attending this year's Embedded Systems Conference in Silicon Valley (March 29 through April 3). The lineup of keynotes and events speak to the challenging conditions that exist this year.

Inphi Corporation introduced a 28G Bit Error Ratio (BER) Receiver reference design for research and development or production testing of emerging high speed protocols from 13 to 28 Gbps, including 100 Gigabit Ethernet, 40G Differential Quadrature Phase Shift Keying (DQPSK), 14G Fibre Channel, and 100G Dual-Polarization Quadrature Phase Shift Keying (DP-QPSK).
