LONDON Energy Micro AS (Oslo, Norway), vendor of the Gecko 32-bit microcontroller, has added Daniel Artusi and Daniel Hoste, to its board of directors.
Artusi has held several leading management positions during his 32-year career in the semiconductor industry. Artusi was most recently president and CEO at Conexant Systems and prior to that was president and CEO at Silicon Laboratories and for many years was a vice president and general manager at Motorola's semiconductor division.
Hoste has spent more than 40 years in the high tech industry, and has experience in microcontrollers as well as in sales and marketing. Most recently, Hoste was president and CEO of Tundra Semiconductor, based in Canada, after being the vice president and general manager of 8- and 16-bit microcontroller division of Freescale Semiconductor Inc.
"Our new board members are not only experienced leaders from the semiconductor industry, but also share our vision and passion for new and innovative energy efficient semiconductors," said Geir Forre, founder and CEO, in a statement.
