Welcome to the EE Times' 2001 Salary Survey & College Report. In addition to the print editions of the 2001 Salary & Opinion Survey and the 2001 College Report, The Work Circuit is proud to present a collection of online-only material.

It had to come to an end sometime. After averaging an increase of $3,820 for the past five years, salaries were as flat as the proverbial pancake this year. In sharp contrast to the $7,300 increase of last year, salaries rose a minuscule $100 in 2001. And the only reason salaries were flat is that managers got pretty substantial raises.
