Spoke Software Launches With Enterprise Applications
Designed to Kill the Cold Call
New Product Launch Provides Value to Ten Enterprise Pilot Customers
PALO ALTO, Calif., Nov. 17 /PRNewswire/ -- Spoke Software, Inc., a leading
provider of enterprise class professional relationship applications, today
launched the Spoke Enterprise Suite -- Spoke Accounts, Spoke Connect, Spoke
Leads -- and announced that it now has ten pilot enterprise customers. Spoke
Enterprise Suite is designed to kill the cold call by delivering insight,
influence and access from the relationship networks inherent in the
enterprise. End-users will ultimately see increased close rates, deal velocity
and revenue per customer.
Built on top of a patented set of social networking web services that
harness the relationship information already held within enterprise
information, and messaging systems, Spoke's applications enable sales and deal
teams to connect to opportunities through those relationships. From
opportunity development and deal close, to ongoing client and account
management and development, Spoke is proving that relationships can be
leveraged to gain information, apply influence, and win deals.
"Our customers want to bring every relationship to bear on every deal, and
never go into a sales situation cold," said Ben T. Smith, chairman and chief
executive officer at Spoke Software. "Individual users in our pilot programs
are seeing value within minutes, and the enterprise starts seeing ROI within
weeks. Our applications deliver value from the bottom up, and require a very
small amount of integration to get started -- and the benefits are clear,
higher close rates, shorter sales cycles and more revenue per customer."
Spoke currently has pilot programs in place with ten enterprise customers,
including firms in software, systems integration, and management consulting.
Sales teams are using the Spoke Enterprise Suite to leverage relationships
into the sales process in ways that can help address many of the problems
inherent in the traditional sales function -- long sales cycles, inconsistent
leads in the pipeline, and cold calls that lead to dead ends.
"Accelerating and improving the way sales people can put relationships to
work in the sales process is a big win for the enterprise," said
Robb Rasmussen, vice president, Global Alliances at EDS' Solutions Consulting.
"Spoke is showing what you can do with a web services based suite of
applications -- leveraging inherently complex, sensitive and dynamic data --
to deliver value to every sales person and empower a core service for the
real-time enterprise."
"Bringing the strength of AT Kearney relationships to bear on new business
and extending an understanding of our existing clients is the solid value that
Spoke delivers," said Saurine Doshi, vice president of Communications and High
Technology at A.T. Kearney. "Enterprise Software is, increasingly, going to
require thinking around 'bottom up' deployment, instead of 'top down'
implementation, and we've definitely seen that with Spoke."
Spoke Enterprise Suite
Spoke Accounts is built specifically for larger enterprise accounts and
enables users to create account/pursuit teams, build account power maps, view
interaction activity, and monitor the health and strength of the existing or
potential relationship. By providing aggregate use of relationship information
to sales and deal teams, managing prospects and opportunities and leveraging
"hidden influencers" has never been easier.
Spoke Connect, the core of the Spoke product suite, is built on a
foundation of user control and privacy and helps enterprises search
relationship assets and apply them throughout the account development process.
Spoke Connect provides the ability to index relationship data without any
manual key in of information, and provides the search and workflow
capabilities that allow individual users to tap into the power of their
extended network, enabling better management and visualization of the personal
and professional networks linked by the system.
Spoke Leads automatically checks leads against the enterprise relationship
network for potential connections, helping sales quickly identify and act on
all leads through a familiar SFA interface. Spoke Leads enables sales teams to
access decision makers quickly, gain insight into the buying process and
convert leads into quality opportunities, maximizing the return on lead
generation efforts.
Spoke's patent-pending relationship privacy functionality provides all
Spoke users with complete control over their relationships. Each user
determines what information gets indexed, which relationships, if any, are
hidden, and who has the capability of requesting referrals through them.
Unlike contact sharing solutions, a person's direct relationships will never
be visible to anyone, and they maintain complete ownership while still being
able to discover and leverage any other company relationship.
