The State of the Engineer 2005

        Our State of the Engineer U.S. and European survey was conducted online from June 23 to 29. The survey, with 2,185 usable responses, has a margin of error of +/- 1.3 percent. Three nations took part in the European survey: 48 percent of 255 usable responses came from the U.K., 30 percent from Germany and 22 percent from France. The European survey has a margin of error of +/-3.5 percent. The Japanese survey was conducted online and via e-mail from June 12 to 27 by E2 Publishing Corp., publisher of EE Times Japan. With 783 usable responses, its margin of error is +/-3.3 percent.
