We very much hope that the relationships, information, and interaction you've found on MCC can be carried forth on the MCU Designline.
You're probably wondering how you got here. No, you didn't make a mistake, and no, malware hasn't hijacked your browser.
The sad truth is that without sponsorship, Microcontroller Central has to be shuttered, so we’ve guided you to its closest cousin, the EETimes’ MCU Designline.
The MCU Designline is led by the inimitable Max "The Magnificent" Maxfield, who has graced MCC with his presence on many occasions. We very much hope that the relationships, information, and interaction you’ve found on MCC can be carried forth on the MCU Designline.
If you arrived here looking for a specific blog, don’t panic. In the not-so-distant future, the best of the MCC’s content will be pulled over to the MCU Designline. But if you need something specific, leave a comment below telling us what you were seeking and we’ll make sure that it's among the first items brought over. You might also try exploring MCU Designline to find something similar on this site, or better still, tell Max what you need. He can be reached at email@example.com.
If you were simply following a general interest in microcontroller-related design, or have come looking for the kind of community interaction that MCC offered, we've brought you to a great place with an excellent guide. Furthermore, MCU Designline is part of the larger EE Times Community, with focus areas in a wide variety of technical disciplines. On the EE Times website, you will find news, design information, and industry opinion across the whole breadth of electronics technology. In addition to the MCU area, EE Times offers Designlines that focus on Android, Automotive, Embedded, Industrial, Medical, Prototyping, Programmable Logic, and a host of other topics that may interest you.
Also, the EE Times University is available, bringing you live, interactive lectures (also archived for later use) on a wide range of technical subjects. These lectures run an hour a day for a full week, ensuring that you get in-depth coverage of key topics in the electronics industry. Additional educational papers and webinars are accessible through our sister site, TechOnline.
Like MCC, EE Times is free to visit and explore, but to interact with the site, post comments, and access lectures and webinars, you'll need to register. You'll find, we trust, that this is worth the minor effort involved.
Whether you were a longstanding member of the MCC community or you were seeking us for the first time, we regret not being here to welcome you to Microcontroller Central today. But, hopefully, you will find MCU Designline to be an adequate replacement -- one well worth your time to explore.
Sincerely, Rich Quinnell, Editor in Chief, Microcontroller Central
PS: I have another project looming on the horizon. I’ll give you a heads up as soon as it launches because I know that many of you will find it very, very interesting. Please stay in touch with me at firstname.lastname@example.org.
