Let us see:mmmm.. examples of every business that DEPENDS upon networked communications .. being breached.. nearly daily. Unlike IoT.. No power / bandwidth compromises required .. yet major corporations can't secure their "critical data"? What chance does IoT have? I certainly don't have any illusions about the security of IoT. Who is this "we" that thinks we are approaching ready?

IoT = Intrusion of Things. You think security breaches are a problem now? Just wait until there are billions of devices with security holes that never get patched.
