Hello Jennifer and welcome.  I don't know if you know much of the history of this position, but there are some big shoes to fill.  That said, the speed with which you've got the Dec caption competition judged and the new January one up is impressive.  (You're obviously better at herding Elves than Max :-)

Which brings me to an editing job for you.   At the top of the Caption Contest is

"Our first cartoon caption contest for 2018 has come captivating possibilities."

Shouldn't that be "some"?  I think I saw this last month as well??

I'm in Australia BTW, which means because of the rotation of the earth I get to see mistakes before anyone else :-)
