Here's a fun photo showing what happens when electronics design goes wrong.
I just posted a column from Jeff Bier about the problems he's had with the electronics in his Passat. I remember when Jeff bought this car—I liked the way it looked, and I love the way German cars drive. (For example, I've had a longstanding interest in the Boxster, and its newer sibling the introduction of the new Cayman.) But, sad to say, Jeff's Passat had some basic design flaws.
