SMART partners have access to a proven, robust, high-quality solutions that will lower their client's overall costs and assure that project deadlines are met.
"SMART is already acting informally in support of these partners on many of their client projects," said John Howard, Manager of Strategic Alliances. "They have found through their experience thatthe SMART DB Workbench(TM) makes their data migration and interfacingprojects more efficient. So after we've successfully partnered on several implementations, we will formalize, with the SMART Partner Program, what is already a 'win-win' situation."
A unique capability of SMART DB Workbench that is of particular value to partners is its ability to easily create user-defined, reusable templates. These templates capture the complete relationship between source and target data, including all data transformations and mapping requirements.
Partners can imbed the knowledge they have developed through their experience into these graphical templates, which can be easily used over again for each new project. Templates allow for the rapid and high-quality deployment of partner expertise in data migration, reducing the time and risks associated with implementation.
SMART Corporation has tailored its Partner Program to successfully meet the expectations of this channel. A flexible set of programs are available for consultants, VARs or OEMs, allowing foruse in referral, resale or product embedding opportunities.
