Lampret now holds the position of vice president of strategic alliances at Beyond Semiconductor, a Slovenian company that is licensing commercial versions of the OpenRISC 32-bit processor.
The website has been in operation for seven years and includes a database of users from more than 10,000 organizations that have downloaded cores, Lampret said. Lampret indicated that a buyer might come from within the ASIC, FPGA, EDA or foundry sectors.
