LONDON Integrated antenna and RF specialist Antenova (Cambridge, England) has won a design-in deal for its GPS antenna module from G-Core Ltd., the GPS Golf navigation group.
Korean company G-Core will embed the M10264 GPS RF Antenna Module into its next GPS golf range finder, the G-Core Pro.
The M10264 planar mount GPS RF module combines a SiRFstarIII GPS chipset with Antenova's patented antenna technology in a compact package. All front-end components are contained in a 28 x 13 x 4.7mm3 single package laminate base module providing a complete GPS receiver for easy integration.
"With the proliferation of GPS technology, we have experienced a notable increase in innovative applications for our GPS RF Antenna Modules, particularly from historically non-wireless industries such as the golf industry," commented Greg McCray, CEO of Antenova.
