Camarillo, Calif.—Power-One's SSQ Series of sixteenth-brick DC/DC converters delivers 50 watts and up to 95 percent of full rated power at +70°C with as little as 200 LFM cooling for intermediate bus architectures, telecom, datacom, wireless communications, and servers and workstations.
The 1.3-by-0.9 inch converters, delivering 20 amps at 2.5 volts (SSQ48T20025), 15 amps at 3.3 volts (SSQ48T15033), and 10 amps at 5 volts (SSQ48T10050), feature remote on/off, remote output-voltage sensing, and industry-standard output trim. They have over-voltage, under-voltage, over-current, and over-temperature protection.
Additional features include input-to-output isolation of 1500 VDC, basic insulation, start-up into highly-capacitive loads, and low conducted and radiated EMI. The converters meet UL60950-1/CAN/CSA-C22.2 No. 60950-1, TUV EN 60950-1, and IEC 60950-1 specifications. The SSQs are RoHS compliant for all six restricted substances.
