AMD demoed (above) a 15W version of its Carrizo integrated chip playing 4K while using less than 8% of x86 cores due to an embedded HEVC decoder.
Below Intel showed its 22nm, 18-core Xeon E5-2600 V3 with integrated voltage regulators. The server chip supports more fine-grained ways of allocating threads to save power while it runs up to 2.7 GHz and beyond in turbo mode.
