Well, this will not do away with projection, mirroring and other existing HUD technologies anytime soon. As far as I understand the featured concept, it fails to address the problem of focussing. Having some sort of micro-LED close to the eye is one thing, but delivering useful information crisp and clear is another. All the other problems - energy, communication, real world issues .. come after.
