The efforts and focus of the OpenCL Standards group are the kind of effort and focus required to pull our country out of its current economic morass. It will be a HUGE step-forward for our planet if the Standards group and its Industrial partners are successful in creating an OpenCL that allows CPU's, GPU's, DSP's, and FPGA's to be efficiently integrated into realtime software systems. God bless the Standards Group and their partners for their technological vision and hard work.
