I agree. However, it looks like a good place to start developing a much more advanced robot that could be very useful for people who need someone else to help care for them.

Hmm. We've not yet seen the killer application. We can carry an iPad under our arm as we walk; what is this iRobot going to do for us to become invaluable?

I believe, gesture recognition applied in robotic would move to next gen in near future. It might be possible to play tennis with a robot on real court soon? :)
