Not sure about the graph... less than 1000 publications with the term "Semiconductor" prior to 2000 and then greater than 25000 after that? I understand that this is just generated automatically, but it looks like something is wrong with the data base.

It will double but that will make many sectors to be commoditized. The market remains brutal for players.
