Thanks for the question katgod. The sub-10ps pulse generators referenced in the article typically provide edge amplitudes ranging somewhere between hundreds of millivolts to a few volts. However, often there is only one available edge amplitude for a given pulse generator and additional hardware may be required to adjust the amplitude of the edge. An exception to this is Agilent's N2806A Calibration Pulse Generator, which has a switch to select between 500 mV or 1 V amplitude.

Did I miss this, I could not find any mention of the amplitude of this edge.
