re: Testing HDMI and MHL interfaces
WKetel   3/13/2013 1:04:18 AM
NO RATINGS
So the real purpose of the rush to exclusive use of HDMI for interconnection is to prevent joe average from ever being able to make a copy of anything. It also makes the prior investments in things like cameras and recorders obsolete, since no interface will be provided. One more gripe is that those connectors are much more fragile than any RCA style connector, and that they are probably much cheaper to produce, which is why the cost of the cables is so much higher. Much moore profit because of less competition. Great fior the suppliers, bad for the consumers.
