Imagine the use of smartphones and the cloud to provide the intelligence for Lego Mindstorm machines. These would then be reconfigurable mechancial hardware that would be software reprogammable. It's so fungible it's hard to get your head around it. Scalextric is a U.K. brand of low-voltage slot-car racing toy, apparently now made obsolete by Anki....
