Rick, Stefan Ferber, who is the Director for Communities & Partner Networks in the Internet of Things and Services at Bosch Software Innovations,  provides a nice synopsis in his blog following the 2012 IEEE Internet of Things conference in Wuxi, including the "Wuxi National IoT innovation zone" that hosts several research institutes, some 300 companies with 30 bn RMB turnover and more than 70,000 associates.

I heard China is setting up a big IoT center in Wuxi. Anyone else have impressions from visiting it?
