Ah -- I was wondering if it was powerful enough to also cut out the boards afterwords -- or did they use another tool for that?

the lpkf protolaser is for ablating copper! You put in a copper clad board and it freaking lasers off the un needed copper.

@Caleb: Having an LPKF Protolaser S sitting around can lead to this kind of thing...

I like the sound of lasers (pun intended) ... how was this used in this project?
