Yes wearables can make lot of difference in today's lifestyle... I can relate an example here. Yesterday I had to pick up my daughter from school ... I normally book taxi.. The cab driver called and told since it's too far a distance he won't come. I had to walk a distance and kept trying different taxi services ... If I had a wearable where cab's app can locate my location and pick me it would bd great. Smartphones you still have to unlock,then open, be careful that it doesn't fall. Wearables are much more easier to handle. I wish Sony brings it out ...

It may end up eventually being a development tool, with production handed over to a custom PCB.

Maybe they will be successful in building an ecosystem around it...that will make more sense than hundreds of companies developing their own gadgets on their own...kind of Google Android system for wearables

The big news is that Sony chose its sensor hub for it SmartWatch 3, but the whole it includes everything you need, and if you need more you can attach almost any sensor to the hub.
