It's also, dare I say it, helpful!

 

I had it running in my cubicle at work for about 2 days.  I noticed two things very quickly:

 
  1. After about an hour, I no longer saw it in my peripheral vision - I only saw "grey" unless I looked up at it.
  2. People did not come around - it made it much more quiet, and maybe even made me more productive!

Yeah, but I didn't feel like pnying up the bucks.

 

I actually wrote a program that would convert an image to the code necessary to display the image on the screen, but as you can imagine, the pixellation is pretty severe...

Hi Tom -- I've seen this NeoPixel shield on the Adafruit site -- it does look really tasty -- I might be tempted to get one after I've finished up some of my current projects.

 

Wait 'til you see the next couple of projects!
