Video well done, but they left the best part on the editing room floor.

The key thing missing is any kind of contact information for the relevant Infineon sales business unit, other than Andreas Urschitz' name, which gets you a "Go away kid, Ya bother me" robo reply from their Service Center.

The unit in the video looks a lot like FINSiX Dart (thanks for the tip), though I can't actually read the logo. This is nice to know, but not too helpful if you want to explore this technology for other applications.

This technology has been already explored by a MIT based startup called FinSix. They use patented resonant topologies at very high frequency switching to achieve this.

The trend as I am seeing now is to pack as much power into smaller and smaller area and still maintain decent efficiency.

1. Where would I be able to buy these in volume?

2. Does this design meet Level VI efficiency standards.

3. Are all bets off if you have to go above 70W and have PFC?

4. Does the design pass Conducted Emissions with a dynamic load?

While not knocking Infineon in any way - my little knowledge of them is all good - my general experience has been that the smaller the Power Supply, the more likely it is to go wrong... any comments on the tested or foreseen reliability of this design??
